General Manager Finance

Finterview Demo Co, a Series B fintech in Bengaluru building embedded lending APIs for NBFCs, is hiring a General Manager Finance to own the company's financial function end to end. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment and holds a high bar for financial rigor and compliance. You will partner directly with founders and the leadership team on capital strategy, regulatory and lender-facing reporting, and the financial infrastructure behind a scaling embedded lending platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the full finance function, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Lead statutory reporting, audits, and compliance obligations relevant to a fintech working with NBFC partners
• Manage relationships with banks, NBFC partners, auditors, and regulators on financial and compliance matters
• Drive capital strategy, fundraising support, and investor reporting in partnership with founders and leadership
• Build and maintain financial controls, treasury operations, and cash flow management appropriate to a scaling lending-adjacent business
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams on pricing, unit economics, and lending-related financial modelling
• Build, mentor, and manage the finance team as the company scales

Requirements

• Significant progressive experience in finance leadership roles, ideally within fintech, lending, NBFCs, or financial services
• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, or equivalent) or comparable finance qualification
• Deep working knowledge of Indian financial and regulatory compliance requirements relevant to lending and NBFC partnerships
• Track record of owning financial planning, reporting, audits, and controls in a high-growth environment
• Experience supporting fundraising, investor relations, or capital strategy at a scaling company
• Strong analytical rigour, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, ownership-driven culture
• Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team
